# Introduction
Tourism is a new discipline. Geography is an old discipline. It is as old as philosophy, which has a history of over two thousand years.
Geography is to record (graph) the earth (geo). I record a thing focusing on various aspects such as climate, topography, water, plants, animals, history, culture, population, transportation, and industry. Tourism geography emphasizes the things that lead to tourism.
Today, we live in a busy society. What is the benefit of recording the Earth? I think it allows you to think for yourself. It is to think from various angles. : )
